ABOUT THE CHAIRMAN OF HEALTHCAREDr. V. Sathyanarayanan established Sathya diabetic center on February 9, 2004, in Kanchipuram. Renowned for his commitment to the underserved, Dr. Sathyanarayanan, known as the "Doctor of the Poor," has earned numerous prestigious awards such as the Kalaimamani Award and the Abdul Kalam Seva Ratna Award.
We have organized over 500 free medical camps for marginalized groups including the poor, physically challenged, and educational professionals. Our vision is to enhance medical support for those in need, with a strong emphasis on spreading awareness about diabetes through innovative methods.
BACKGROUND
Universal healthcare for all is the key focus of KNCCI in promoting healthcare initiatives. The focus on healthcare will have prevention of possible illness as a dedicated vertical. This is because the cost of treatment will be higher across the nature of illness compared to the amount that would go into prevention.
THE OBJECTIVES AND GOALS OF THE HEALTHCARE COMMITTEE
- Create a common platform to bring all stakeholders together applying low-cost world-class practices and processes from Japan to create value for all from inclusivity perspective.
- Develop a virtual centre of excellence for each of the verticals of the healthcare industry with a focus on developing universal healthcare.
- Promote delegation visits from Tamil Nadu to best in class healthcare facilities available in Japan and vice versa to provide the first-hand experience to healthcare professionals on what is the best available and who are potential target audience from the most vulnerability perspective.
